Lest We Forget, on Veteran’s Day, Saturday November 11th, a documentary video "Hampton Voices from World War 1" will be shown at two venues in Hampton. The video, created by Karen Raynes and Mike Garland, will honor the men and women who enlisted from Hampton in The Great War.

There will be 2 showings of the video:

  1. 11 a.m. — American Legion Hall on High Street.
  2. 1 p.m. — Lane Memorial Library, Academy Ave, in the Weston Auditorium.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the United States of America's entrance into World War 1. Memorabilia from World War 1 are also on display at the Tuck Museum.

Refreshments will be served after both showings of the video. This is a free community sponsored event by the American Legion Post #35, the Hampton Historical Society/Tuck Museum of Hampton History, and the Lane Memorial Library.
