The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department and Hampton Historical Society have teamed up to present a special “Early Bird” tour of Hampton Beach on Saturday, July 13 as part of Hampton’s 375th celebration.
The tour will stop at the original ”Landing” area, Bound Rock, and North Beach. We will check out the changing Hampton River as we discuss the part of Hampton Beach that went out to sea, and learn about the history of the hotel area at Great Boar’s Head. The tour will visit the last remaining mill on High Street before returning to Town Hall.
The cost is $15. The bus leaves Town Hall at 9am. Space is limited. Stop by the Hampton Parks and Recreation office in Town Hall to reserve your spot for this unique event. For more information call Hampton Parks and Rec. 926-3932.
